Women's Mental Health Associates

End of Life Care

Patients, families and the palliative care movement have emphasized the importance of quality of life and the need for high quality end of life health and mental health care. Women’s Mental Health Associates can assist in navigating individual, family, medical and spiritual responses to end of life issues among women and families coping with life-threatening conditions. We routinely provide care in the following areas.

  • Coping with advanced and end stage medical conditions
  • Assessment and treatment of depressive and anxiety symptoms
  • Difficulties falling or staying asleep
  • Caregiver issues
  • Talking with family members about medical problems and end of life decisions
  • End of life planning and decision making
  • Decisions about end of life care
